Mae Stewart Nagusky (b. August 28, 2002) is a radio producer and filmmaker.

She first fell in love with interviewing in high school with the school paper, The Shakerite. She learned how to be a journalist and the impact words and grit can have on a town.

Then, she went off to college in Vermont. She majored in film and started realizing her artistic voice. She interned at the Community News Service and learned how to make a podcast from ideating to hitting publish.

While at the University of Vermont, she was lucky enough to get an internship at Vermont Public on the Brave Little State team. It was a dream to finally make feature-length, fun and informative podcasts (after she had been delighted by such creations for years and years).

Then, she got her master’s degree in Audio Journalism/Podcasting at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Institute.

Now, she is a freelance audio producer — taking it all in.

Mae loves her friends more than anything. Some of her other loves include: bouncy balls and the sun, watching strangers hug, mangoes and biking, dancing all night long, jumping into cold water and watching others sing aloud.
